TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE THAT DIFFERENCE
Across the Nation, We Are committed in Our Dedication to Uplifting Communities
Our Approach
Empowering And Uplifting Communities
Tilder Foundation Trust, a brainchild of veteran broadcaster Tilder Moyo, seeks to help women, children and youths by uplifting and empowering them.
A huge part of the organisation’s work is to help alleviate poverty as well as give ex-convicts a second shot at life. We work to expose and tackle cases of domestic violence, rape, child abuse, drug and substance abuse as well as eradicating poverty through uplifting communities. We focus mainly on women, children and youths. These groups accounts for 80 percent of our work.
Tilder Foundation Trust is funding a number of pupils from early childhood development right through to university level. We’re taking care of orphans whom we organize orphanages for, and continue to take care of them from those orphanages. Through our partners, we assist some wrongfully convicted prison inmates to get a fair trial by organizing lawyers for them.
The organisation works with the Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Service to identify their areas of need and seek donations on their behalf.
We also help reintegrate and bridge the stigmatic gap between inmates and the societies they come from through airing our weekly show, Behind Bars with Tete Tilder.
